I've been holding on to a couple of shrunken cashmere sweaters forever and finally decided to turn them into baby duds. So, MORE soakers and longies plus some appliqued onesies and shirts to match. These are probably more decorative and cozy than actual functional soakers since they are lighter weight and not fully felted.
For fun I added a little heart to the back of the soaker and used the turtleneck of one of the sweaters for a fold-over yoga-pants-type waistband. I liked it so much, I used another turtleneck for the waistband on one of the pants.
Someone stop me! I don't think any sweater in my house is safe. How many soakers does a baby need, anyway?
