A name in the window

I made this stained glass name sign for Maia's window the other day using contact paper and colored tissue paper.

First, I wrote Maia's name with marker on the contact paper. Then I stuck wadded up pieces of torn tissue paper along the letters and added another sheet of contact paper over the name.

I think the result is very pretty, especially with the light shining through! And it's easy enough for a child to make, if the child were so inclined...
